Statement:
"Ambivalent, so subtle it hits like a sledge hammer.
Common themes in my work include freedom versus conformity, the invasiveness of technology and social criticism. These works address the oppressive barriers placed on society by religious and governmental groups. The people, places, and things that surround me come under constant scrutiny in my art. With the use of subversion, irony, and the juxtaposition of image and text I create a forum for the viewers to question their own views."
All video and installation works are available on Steve's site. |
