LOOKING FOR A PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN!!!

We are looking for someone to help us out at our gallery, Paris In Plantsville.
We are an emerging arts space in the village of Planstville, in Southington, CT. Our goal is to promote the arts and other creative practices through exhibitions, film screenings, and other events. We offer art classes through out the year and also have special events always going on. Our space is open for submissions and proposals for any interested artist.
The duties of the intern would include:
- Inputting contacts into MS Excel and Gmail contact listings, organizing newsletter emailing list
- Organize and filing work of Purchase Orders, Bills, Sales of Work, etc.
- Keep updated and continuous correspondence via phone and email with gallery inquiries
- Help gallery outreach by organizing events to promote the space and what it has to offer
- Maintain gallery's social networking via Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Answer gallery phone calls and take down messages
- Keep gallery organized and well kept
- Contacting and networking through attending other events and being a representative of the gallery
- Working with resident artists on any projects
AT THIS TIME THIS INTERNSHIP IS ONLY FOR EXPERIENCE AND POSSIBLE ACADEMIC CREDIT, THIS IS CURRENTLY NOT A PAID INTERNSHIP.
